Being Translated Into English

Introduction

I initially wrote the article “The Uniforms of the Swedish Army” in Swedish. I have begun translating the article into English. So- far are the chapters about uniforms of the 1600s, 1700s and 1800s translated and the 1900s is being translated now. These chapters are now in English: • 1600s • 1700s • 1800s • 1900s • Uniforms of the Swedish Home Guards • Uniforms of the Swedish Landstorm • Nomenclature Describing uniforms of former days isn't easy. It is a lot of special terms, often very old terms - terms not used today. Translating this into the correct English terms isn't easy if you don't know the correct corresponding terms in English.
